Mission Statement
Timeless Tones is an organization on the mission to give the elderly who may want to resume their music journey again the opportunity to perform and play for their community. Timeless Tones promotes gatherings and collaborative performances that can allow people to reunite with their instruments and also to reconnect with their community. We believe that music can evoke joyful memories of the past and that certain songs can hold special meanings for people. Timeless Tones is designed to be welcoming and available to anyone who may be interested, regardless of their skill level. By helping the elderly have a space to rediscover their musical past, we hope to bring a community closer and more interactive.
Who is our Target Audience?
Our target audience are elders who may have had their instruments stored away and may want to start their music journey again. We ensure a positive and welcoming environment for those who do start their musical journey again, guiding everyone each step of the way.
About the Founder - Olivia Lee
Olivia Lee has been playing flute for the past 7 years and is part of various musical activities. She has participated in Region and All State Band and Orchestras, participates in the AACC Youth Orchestra, and participates in the Glen Rock Pops Orchestra. She has participated and placed in the 2025 New Jersey Flute Society Spring Competition, 2025 Vivo International Music Competition, 2024 Crescendo International Music Competition, 2022 Camerata Artists International Competition, and the 2021 New Jersey State Solo and Ensemble Festival. She is also part of Tacenda Flute Quartet that was formed in 2020 by her and her peers that participates in the New York Youth Symphony Chamber Program and has won the 2023 Elite International Music Competition. She has also joined the Manhattan School of Music PreCollege since 2024 and is in their Philharmonic Orchestra.
